If you leave the route, it is recalculated locally without requiring a server connection.
Manual avoids
Known closures, radio traffic jams or unsuitable sections can be avoided manually.
GPS instead of internet
Navigation needs location reception. GPS is not the same as mobile internet.
Internet for updates
A connection is useful for downloads, map updates and new country packages, preferably via Wi-Fi.
What is deliberately not promised
Without internet there is no real live traffic data: no server-based congestion forecast, no current accident reports, no dynamic roadwork data and no live closures. The website explains this clearly so users understand the app correctly.
